I love Pinterest-inspired fall porches…the more pumpkins, the better, just not all the hauling and rearranging it takes to create one.
Stem to Stoop is my locally owned seasonal styling service for the Kansas City area. I hand-select each item for every display and style it specifically for your home, bringing a warm, personal, welcoming fall moment right to your doorstep.

Frequently asked questions.
How long will my pumpkins last?
I clean and treat every pumpkin to help extend its life. With normal fall weather, thoughtful placement, and a little care, your display should stay beautiful through Thanksgiving. Because pumpkins are natural products, longevity can vary with weather and other conditions.
Will squirrels, deer, or other pests get into my display?
I apply a natural animal deterrent to every stoop at no additional charge. No treatment can fully control wildlife, but it helps discourage curious visitors.
Do I need to be home for installation?
No. By booking, you give Stem to Stoop permission to access and style the agreed exterior area on your installation date. Please share any gate, parking, or access details in your request.
How do payments work?
After I review your request, I’ll send a Square invoice for a 50% nonrefundable deposit. The remaining balance is due three days before installation.
What does seasonal variation mean?
Pumpkins, gourds, and mums are natural products, and exact varieties, shapes, and tones change with each harvest. I may make comparable substitutions while preserving the agreed color palette, fullness, and overall design of your stoop.
How should I care for my mums?
Mums need lots of water. For best results, water at the neck of the plant or leave the pot in a watering tray so it can drink from the bottom.
What does haul away include?
Haul away includes pickup of all display materials left on your stoop. I’ll reach out with the available haul-away days and coordinate your pickup.

Booking policies
Deposit & balance. A 50% nonrefundable deposit reserves your approved date. The remaining balance is due three days before installation.
Cancellation, rescheduling & weather. If a Stem to Stoop issue or weather affects your installation, Kailey will reach out before the scheduled install to coordinate next steps or a new date.
Seasonal variation. Pumpkins, gourds, and mums are natural products, so exact varieties, shapes, and tones depend on the harvest. Comparable substitutions may be made while preserving your agreed palette, fullness, and overall design.
Pumpkins, animals & mum care. Pumpkins are cleaned and treated and should last through Thanksgiving under normal conditions. A natural animal deterrent is included on every stoop at no charge, though wildlife cannot be fully controlled. Mums need lots of water; water at the neck or leave the pot in a watering tray for best results.
Porch access. You do not need to be home. By booking, you give Stem to Stoop permission to access and style the agreed exterior area. Please provide safe access and any gate, parking, or entry instructions.
Haul away. The add-on covers pickup of all display materials left on your stoop. Kailey will reach out with available haul-away days and coordinate pickup.
Service area. Service is generally available within 30 miles of Olathe. If your address is outside that area, please reach out; service may be available with an agreed travel fee.
